~VIBRATE YOU~ Song Interpretations
Of course all their songs are open to interpretation, but here are some explanations by the band!
Perfect connection. Emotionally, sexually. Spiritually riddled and infected with paranoia and deception. About never being able to have what you want-About hiding from yourself. About hiding your despair in sleaze and pointless sex.
About the passionate and cathartic relationship between the band and our audience. The intense connection live. Where everything that hurts and pains everyday doesn`t matter any more. Escaping!
BIG ISN'T BEAUTIFUL
Written through the eyes of a male anorexic. Self obsession and self loathing at its most destructive.
FRIDAY NIGHT EXPLODES
A speed and alcohol fuelled celebration of excess, placing drugs on their rightful pedestal. About sleazy club culture. About addiction. A sort of pre-band autobiography.
About the struggle of making it happen as a band. About going so far their is no turning back. There's no alternative. 9-5 is no option. Its make it or you are fucked. `SHES` always aftertime is the Band.
A depraved tale of sleaze and debauchery. About getting caught with your pants down. About fantasy and unrivalled libido, sex with a policewoman. Intended to be quite dark but comical.
Anti Machismo. Anti lad culture. About feeling comfortable in expressing yourself. Refusal to change.Fear of standing alone. About being crushed by their taunting and physical abuse. yet having something special that they could never do or have. 'THEY'LL NEVER CHANGE US'
WE ARE HEROES
Tongue in cheek title. About the four of us and the dramatic incline of fear and loathing that we have experienced. About the bond we have. About not being in control of our lives. About finding solace in each other.
Self- Explanatory!!! The Joys of......... oral sex. ;)
Auto- erotic-asphyxiation between two asthmatic lovers. Say no more.
MUSIC TAKES YOU
Probably the most positive song on the album. A plaintive cry of hope. About refusing to conform. About shaking free all the shit and not wallowing in it anymore. A call to fight together. A misfit army. Again inspired by our relationship with our fans.
About fear and desire. About two people possessed by each others entities. Haunted to the point of unhealthy obsession...
